We are equally committed to advancing the careers of women within our organization. Rooted in principles of gender equality, Fuji Kotsu actively supports the professional growth of female employees. For instance, during maternity leave, we provide comprehensive support, including assistance with reintegration into the workforce and flexible work arrangements that enable women to effectively balance their family and professional commitments. Additionally, we have introduced specialized career development programs tailored to women aspiring to attain managerial positions, facilitating their self-improvement and pursuit of career objectives.
In addressing salary disparities, we have implemented a fair and transparent evaluation system that ensures equitable compensation for both male and female employees, taking into account job responsibilities, skills, and roles, thereby eliminating wage gaps.
In terms of career progression, we enthusiastically support our employees’ professional development, assisting them in crafting medium to long-term career plans and offering a wide array of training and growth opportunities to help them continuously advance in their careers.
To meet the evolving needs of our workforce and enhance work efficiency, we have established various flexible work arrangements, including telecommuting and flexible work schedules. These arrangements not only empower employees to harmonize their work and personal lives but also reduce commuting times and enable them to respond effectively to unforeseen family obligations.
At Fuji Kotsu, we aspire to create a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive work environment where employees can realize their full potential and achieve their career aspirations

Voices of Senior Bus Drivers
***I initially became a bus driver simply because I loved buses. However, over time, I’ve had the opportunity to meet many people and gain a wealth of experiences. Working as a tour bus driver, in particular, has allowed me to interact with numerous tourists and assist in creating wonderful memories for them. This has been incredibly rewarding.
Furthermore, by leveraging my own experiences and skills, I’ve been able to provide advice and mentorship to my colleagues and younger drivers, helping them improve their skills and instilling in them a strong sense of enthusiasm and responsibility for their work. This, in turn, has reignited my own passion for my job.
***As someone who used to work as a truck driver and made the transition to becoming a tour bus driver, I can relate to similar experiences. Truck drivers often experience loneliness and significant stress during long hours on the road, and the physical labor involved in loading and unloading cargo can be physically demanding.
However, my love for driving and the desire for new challenges motivated me to switch to a career as a tour bus driver. This change allowed me to explore a wider range of driving routes, including visits to tourist destinations, expanding my horizons.
Moreover, I have fond memories from my childhood of participating in Fuji Kotsu’s fantastic Bubble Tours. That trip left a lasting impression on me, and I remember it as a source of great happiness.
These shared experiences highlight the common motivation for individuals like me, who have transitioned from truck driving to becoming tour bus drivers, driven by a passion for driving and the opportunity to broaden their horizons while creating memorable experiences for others.
